Check out how to fix my WhatsApp keeps crashing on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Eager Apple fans have installed iOS updates on their iPhone, iPad, and iPod. There was no major problem discovered until they found WhatsApp has been affected the most on iOS users. Several users have reported WhatsApp on iPhone crashes and the issues aren’t fixed in the Beta 2 version as well.
This is not a straightforward kind of problem that you see, as on WhatsApp if you type “fi”, “ff” and “tt” (any word containing those duo letters) the app will crash. So if you have received any message containing words like fit, film, affinity or you type them, the app will crash. For the best part, there are only a few words in English with a duo combination of “ff” and “tt” but there are thousands of words with “fi” in them. This should be a problem of worry.
There is no reason or explanation why is that happening but developers are working on it although there is no ETA provided. We are provided some of the fixing issues which should solve your problem not permanently but temporarily. And temporary things don't work for the long term, so a permanent solution is a must.
At this moment follow these –
- The only way you can stay away from such problems is to Delete those conversations or messages containing that letter combinations in them. I know it’s hard but that’s only the way.
- If it’s troubling you a lot and you can’t identify which conversation/thread causes the issue, ensure to uninstall the app and re-install it without restoring the previous WhatsApp backup.
Here are the possible solutions that you can give a try. Try from the first solution as they are arranged in order of executing it.
