Apple Inc after posting strong sales in the first quarter of this year has announced its annual WWDC 2024 event Date. It will be held from June 5, 2023, and it last for five days. It's an event that every Apple App developer awaits.
For every folk who is new, the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (abbreviated as WWDC) is an annually held informational technology conference. Usually, it's held for 3-4 days physically in Apple Park in Cupertino, California in the USA. So as a developer are you excited?
The next Apple Worldwide Developer Conference will be both an offline and online event unlike the previous event in 2021 which was online only thanks to nCovid-19 virus. Online streaming will be FREE but you need to register while the offline attendees will have to pay $1600 USD to be part of the WWDC event.
Alongside this, the Cupertino tech giant also announced the Swift Student Challenge through which it would be selecting student developers who love coding. Submissions for this challenge are open until May 18.
Apple and its core development team are making sure that it will be the biggest WWDC event ever helpful both for them and the freelance developers around the world who are producing amazing apps on the App Store.

How to Watch WWDC Live:
The program is for pre-registered partners of Apple Developers. This year's meeting will be carried out from June 7 and will last for four days until June 11.

So if you have got an Apple iPhone in your hands, it would be better to watch it via the "Apple Developer" App. The alternate, i.e., via the Apple Developer website is always available through your mobile phone browser.
WWDC 2024 Date:
As the 2022 year's event is over, we move on to the upcoming year, i.e., next year's event. It will be held on June first week and the possible dates are June 7, 2023. It will be a four or five-day event lasting till the 11th of June.

For the 2023 event, apart from a usual upgrade to the different operating system versions, we can expect the debut of homeOS i.e., new software for IoT(Internet of Things) devices that will be mostly controlled by 'Hey Siri'. The IoT is an advanced development in the field of Artificial Intelligence(AI) and a lot more is expected in this field in the coming years. So, a dedicated IoT software by Apple is definitely on the cart and if it's not launched this year, it will be expected to launch next year at the 2024 event.
This is expected because Apple still doesn't have a clear strategy for home devices. Further, we could expect hardware development in the field of Mixed Reality, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality.

As usual, Apple will introduce new Macbooks at WWDC.

The event lasts for an entire week from June 5 to June 9th.
The 2021 Event Date: June 7, 2021 (Already Over)
This event was before the official Apple iPhone 13 Series gets launched. It was exactly on June 7, 2021.
New Macbook Pros and HomeOS were expected but weren't launched.
