With WWDC 2022 Keynote, Apple introduced iOS 16 and WatchOS 9 which brings Medications, a section under the Health app. Using this app you can easily set reminders of your medications like tracking medicines, Vitamins, and food supplements and you will not have to visit a Walmart pharmacy or any Pharmacy store now.
Apple is committed to making the most complicated aspects of health more intuitive and this year they have tackled another integral aspect of health i.e., Apple iPhone Medications.
Apple Medications:
You can manage Medications under the Health App. Just follow the below-mentioned steps -
- Open the Health app on your iPhone or iPad and tap on Medications.
- Under Medications, search for prescribed medicine names and add them. Add a time if you want to take the medicine on a particular time of the day.
- You can even add a photo using the camera app to easily remember the name if you can't understand the doctor's writing. Remember app permissions are required.
How to Track Medications on Apple Watch:
Make sure that you have upgraded your Watch to WatchOS 9 because this feature is introduced with this version update and so on your Watch opens the Medications app. You can easily enter medications that you regularly take and receive notifications for medications that you need to take regularly. For entering a tablet name or syrup or any other vitamins/food supplements name tap on Log.
Medications Notifications on iPhone:
You will be notified of each medicine reminder notification. You can mark them as Taken or Skipped in the Health app on iPhone but it's quite easier to manage them on your Watch.
Message Multiple Contacts on WhatsApp iPhone
You can track these medications under the Health app on your iPhone or iPad.
